Rainy Season in Other Places

It is going to be rainy season again soon here in Japan, but did you know that other countries also have rainy seasons? For example, in Australia the northern part of the country is a tropical area, so unlike the south where they have the typical four seasons, the north has just two – called the ‘wet season’ and ‘dry season’ by the locals. The wet season is the tropical monsoon rain. This happens at different times of the year in South East Asia, India, Bangladesh and other places. All these places, including Japan, rely on their annual rainy season to help their farmers grow plants and for their natural environment. So even if it is inconvenient to have to carry an umbrella, remember that rainy seasons are necessary!
