Foreign tourist entry resumption

After a long time without foreign tourists, Japan is finally following the example of many other countries and relaxing the pandemic era restrictions on foreign tourists. Since early 2020, it has been difficult or impossible for non-citizens without existing residence visas to come and go, and this news is the first step toward normal tourism returning.

From June 10^th it will be possible to visit Japan on a package tour, and with a little luck this will soon expand to allow individual tourists. Many in the tourism industry rejoiced at this announcement, as it has been hard times for all parts of the industry and airlines are no exception. This is expected to stimulate re-growth in the airline industry and many companies are now preparing for action.
