Japanese Author Wins Literature Nobel Prize

In a surprise decision, a Japanese born author has won the Nobel Prize for literature. Kazuo Ishiguro, who lives in the UK and is a British citizen, writes in English. He is the third Japanese born person to win the prize, which makes it a very rare distinction. He has written seven novels and his sixth book, ‘Never Let Me Go’, was recently made into a film.
