Hokkaido Earthquake

Following the damaging typhoon there was a huge earthquake that struck Hokkaido last week.

This caused electricity and natural gas to become cut off, as well as landslides.

It has been a challenging season following other natural disasters in western Japan and this is also a reminder that earthquakes can strike anywhere and anytime in this country.

Please make sure you are up to date with safety information and familiar with procedures in any airports you land at regularly.
