Golden Week

Once again, the holiday known as Golden Week is upon us. Rather than one single holiday, Golden Week is a series of public holidays that happen to fall very close together. Depending on the exact timing and the dates of the weekends next to it, Golden Week can be longer or shorter from year to year. In 2016, some lucky workers will have as many as ten days off! However, since this is a rare opportunity to take a long vacation, many people do exactly that – so please book early!
