Finding the “Silver Lining”

An interesting English proverb suggests that “every cloud has a silver lining”, which means that even when things look bad, there are some good aspects hidden there as well. There is no doubt that the COVID-19 crisis has been difficult for all of humankind and unfortunately we are still waiting for the situation to improve and perhaps a new reality awaits us. However, there are “silver linings” to be found. Many of our students are using the extra time at home to study and I recommend practicing using a different language and keeping up with the news. Of course we can help you with this too. While it is tough for everyone, please do your best to extend yourself and find those “silver linings”.
