Christmas in Australia
2014年12月13日
Many people’s image of Christmas is of a ‘White Christmas’, with everything covered in snow. However, in Australia (and many other parts of the world) December 25 is summer, not winter! Some traditions survive despite the opposite season, such as Christmas food, putting up a Christmas tree and exchanging presents. But because the weather is hot, most people will also have a BBQ or play outside – even go to the beach! And of course, Santa Claus doesn’t wear a big red coat but has shorts and a t-shirt instead.
